Meet steve

Steve Arndt received his Bachelors of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Arizona in 1984.  The first eight years of his professional career saw him working as a Research Engineer at Simula, Inc. in the field of Aviation Crash Safety and Aircrew Protection.  Steve began working at Arndt & Associates, Ltd. in 1992, providing consulting and expert testimony to the legal community on aviation and automotive crash safety.  He then formed Safety Engineering & Forensic Analysis, Inc in 1998.

Most recently Steve has conducted extensive full-scale vehicle handling tests to evaluate stability and control issues, specializing in vehicle dynamics and accident reconstruction.  Testing has been completed on many SUV’s, trucks, vans, minivans, and sedans.  Steve’s research has led to his publication in numerous peer-reviewed technical papers.  He has been invited as a lecturer on his research topics.
